Our tea plantations are situated in the mountains at an altitude of 2000 meters. The tea leaves are carefully picked and then are dried in accordance with ancient methods handed down from generation to generation. The tea does not require any special conditions of storing, it should be kept in a dry place, at a room temperature, away from direct sunlight. This type of tea does not have "best-before date" (can be stored for unlimited time), it even gets more valuable as the time passes. After being dried, when the tea-leaves are ready for brewing, the process of fermentation still continues at a slower rate, and each consecutive year you might notice slight changes in it. After five years of storing HONG SHAN tea, you will get a drink with a deeper taste and delicate undertones.
